The Evening Before
A gathering
of hearts
The night before the wedding, with the people who arrived early. A fire, a long table, and no schedule to keep. It is the evening most couples say they would not give up, because it is the only one where they actually get to talk to anybody.
Held indoors or out under the stars, depending on the weather and how you feel on the day.
What it can include
- Fire dining at our long table, indoors or outside
- A relaxed menu built with our chefs
- Beneath the stars at the boma, or cosy indoors
- Bar service and your own wine, by arrangement
- Set up and cleared by our team, as on the wedding day
Menus and pricing on enquiry, as each rehearsal dinner is quoted to the group.
The Cake Show
A little theatre.
A little sweetness.
Your cake is not finished before the guests arrive. It is finished in front of them.
Partway through the celebration our pastry chef takes the floor and finishes decorating the cake live: focused hands, deliberate motion, and a room that goes quiet without anyone asking it to. By the end it is not simply a cake. It is something your guests watched being made.
